Yup, the demo’s out and my semester’s probably wrecked
Overall, they have something on for Kaka – he is a good player. But he had an abysmal season . He stars in all the covers yet he is not even in Real’s playing eleven in the game.
The opening video has been done away. It’s been replaced with Kaka walking into a swirl of blinking lights and crowd chanting in the stadium.
The demo features Chelsea, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Juventus, Bayer Leverkusen and Lyon, although Arsenal can be unlocked by winning 5 matches.
Messi’s got 90. The highest. A couple of transfers are still pending like Ozil, Ibrahmovic – but they’ll probably do it in the final edition.
It’s got more of this tactical Age of Empires feel. I mean, you get to see the grass, the players and the referee. You can thread more balls in a more better way.
The power bar works, perhaps too much.
The Goal post sucks. I had nearly 5 shots every game which struck the bar.
360 degree jostling rocks. Drogba can simply knock down most of the defenders, but I do think once we unlock the higher difficulty levels this should not be such a huge factor.
And long shots are in finally after a long time – I scored an absolute screamer with Essien.
The career mode is said to be entirely renewed. Looking forward eagerly to yet another semester destruction by taking Accrington to the Premier League.
Celebrations will now use the in-game camera rather than separate cutscenes. And you can control how you want to celebrate manually.
Man of the match is now awarded and the award is shown along with his rating.
The pre-match build up has even the announcer announcing the names of all the players
Couple of things to be excited about in the full version :
Be a GK
New Transfer system.
The biggest thing – they changed one commentator to Martin Tyler. The other one is our beloved Andy Gray. But I do wish they would have changed both the commentators. Well, you can’t have everything can you
Overall, although it is a little bit more like PES now, the game is still refreshingly new
Eagerly awaiting the full version.
